What are the Voss CZone Gloves?
The Voss CZone Gloves are durable, five-finger gloves made with a narrower shape to fit slimmer hands precisely. They're ideal for year-round use in the mountains, thanks to their robust, waterproof construction and grippy design, whether skiing, ski touring or snowboarding.
What are they made of?
The outer is made with a combination of goat leather and Hestra Niak polyester.
Goat leather is more supple than standard leather, providing incredible durability and softness. It's impregnated with a water-resistant treatment for increased weather protection, helping to keep snow and water at bay. Hestra Niak polyester is a lightweight fabric with a softly brushed surface for increased warmth. It provides complete waterproof and windproof protection without compromising breathability.
The CZone Contact membrane creates a waterproof barrier to prevent water from getting through whilst allowing efficient and effective permeability, meaning vapour from sweat and condensation on the inside can still escape to the outer layer of the material, ensuring that you won't be left feeling clammy during intense sessions.
The gloves are insulated with synthetic G-Loft insulation made from thin polyester fibres. G-Loft is exceptional at retaining heat, even in wet conditions (unlike down insulation). Though warm, it's still highly breathable and quick drying, which will help regulate temperature and work in conjunction with the outer materials and lining to prevent moisture from building up.
A brushed polyester lining binds more air than non-bushed alternatives to increase warmth whilst feeling soft and cosy next to the skin.
What are their features?
Elasticated wrists and paracord adjusters enhance the fit and make these gloves comfier for wearing a smartwatch or handling ski poles and gear where you'll need maximum freedom of movement.
Wrist straps keep the gloves safe when removed, ensuring you won't lose one of them in deep snow, and pullers at the cuffs help to improve overall functionality and ease of use.
