What is the Sakata Twin Jacket?
It's a two-in-one piece that protects you from cold, wet weather. The Sakata Twin has a waterproof outer with a fleece jacket on the inside, perfect for commuting to work, running errands round town, leisurely hill walks and general outdoor living.
What is it made of?
The outer material is made from lightweight and durable polyester. It has a PU coating which gives it its waterproof and windproof nature, and reinforces the polyester to resist general wear and tear from daily use. PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) encourages rain and snow to bead off the fabric instead of soaking in. If you're unsure, PFC-free means it hasn't used per-fluorinated chemicals that harm the environment - a much greener choice than conventional treatments.
The fleece jacket inside is made from recycled polyester. Though recycled, this material doesn't skimp on quality! It feels soft next to the skin and is guaranteed to keep you warm all day long.
What are its features?
The Sakata Twin Jacket has a peaked hood designed to keep the rain away from your face while the rest of your head is fully protected. It can be adjusted at the front and rear, allowing you to optimise the fit to suit your head size and shape comfortably.
The jacket is fastened with a front zip covered by a double storm flap that reinforces weather resistance. You can close to storm flap with the subtle velcro patches, also giving you the option to secure the front without having to do the zip for extra ventilation. At the top of the zip, the chin guard keeps your skin from catching to enhance comfort.
Cuffs on the sleeves are also adjustable with velcro straps, allowing you to adapt them around chunky gloves or mitts in colder weather.
Two covered zip pockets are great for belongings like doggy bags, a mobile phone and hill snacks whilst the napoleon zip pocket offers a more secure place to store your keys or a wallet.
A drawstring in the hem allows you to cinch in the waist to keep the weather out and the heat in.
There are loops and a zip for zipping in the inner fleece jacket, allowing you to take it out on warmer days or even wear it on its own if you want to!
The jacket is finished with subtle reflective detailing to give you more visibility in poor conditions or after daylight hours.
