What is the Sakata Hooded Parka?

What is it made of?
The outer and lining are made from lightweight and durable polyester. Only 60% of the outer is recycled, whereas the lining is entirely recycled. This outer textile is fully windproof and waterproof yet doesn't hinder breathability, allowing vapour, like sweat, to escape, preventing you from feeling clammy underneath.
Though recycled, this fabric doesn't skimp on quality. The lining feels lovely and smooth next to the skin, should you be wearing a tee or vest top underneath. It can also wick moisture away effectively, meaning you can even wear it in milder temperatures without having moisture and sweat build up next to the skin.
An added PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) encourages rain and snow to bead off the fabric instead of soaking in. If you were wondering, PFC-free means it hasn't used per-fluorinated chemicals that harm the environment, making it a much greener choice than conventional treatments!
What are its features?
This parka has a front zip fastening with a double storm flap for reinforced weather protection. The storm flap can be closed with snap fasteners for a quick solution, also giving you multiple ways to wear the jacket! You could leave the zip undone and close the snap fasteners to let a little more airflow in without exposing yourself to the elements.
It has a cosy hood with a peak at the top to help direct rain away from your face and a volume adjuster to optimise the fit around even the smallest heads for maximum protection.
Two covered zip pockets are perfect for a mobile phone, doggy bags, trail snacks or headphones. For more valuable belongings, there's an inside pocket with a zip closure that makes it easy to access yet keeps items like a wallet or keys more secure inside.
A drawstring at the waist allows you to cinch in the fit and retain more heat within. Cuffs on the sleeves are also adjustable using the velcro straps that let you adapt the fit around chunky gloves or mitts in colder weather.
