With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

The Petzl Myo headtorch is part of the Active range of torches and uses Constant and Standard Lighting Technology to ensure both economy and optimum performance. In Constant lighting mode the Myo runs off an integrated electronic regulation system that allows for a constant level of brightness until the power in the batteries drops too low. Standard lighting mode is used on maximum power to provide the best compromise between power and burn time; the light output is greatest at first then gradually decreases over time.
This is a truly versatile headtorch for all activities and events that can be programmed to optimise power output and lighting modes. There are four lighting modes on offer, each with lumen outputs between 60 and 370 and you can even programme which mode comes on first, how much light it chucks out and you can even programme the strobe mode to be slow, fast or SOS. The BOOST mode bumps up the lumen output to 370 lumens for those instances when you need all the light you can get to spot a trail marker or identify a distant object. On the front of the lens is a flip up diffuser which changes the light pattern from a spot to a flood.
With all this light output you will need to know how your batteries are coping, so the Myo has a battery level indicator which warns when the batteries are 70% and then 90% depleted and automatically switches to reserve mode when batteries are nearly spent. The 3 AA batteries are housed in a water resistant case on the back of your head and you can use lithium batteries to optimize performance in the cold. An extra over the head elastic strap is included for when you need extra stability.
A really clever design feature is how the switches are protected from accidental operation when the body is the upright position. The Myo is rated to IPX4 which makes it water resistant not waterproof, so in practical terms it is fine in the rain but not submersible.
