Artilect only uses wool obtained from sheep that have not undergone mulesing. Mulesing is a controversial practice used to prevent flystrike - a condition where flies lay their eggs in the folds of a sheep's skin. Mulesing involves surgically removing strips of skin while sheep is awake and is not used in the production of Artilect's wool.
