What is the Borooy Top?
It's a versatile vest top made with natural materials that can be worn as either a tank top or an undershirt. The Borooy provides fantastic comfort and technical performance, making it ideal for hiking, trekking, camping, or even relaxing around the house.
What is it made of?
The Borooy comprises a blend of merino wool, silk and elastane to create something that feels incredibly smooth against the skin whilst offering fantastic technical performance and freedom of movement.
Merino wool is renowned for being soft, breathable, fast drying, and odour resistant - it has fantastic performance properties for a natural fibre! Merino is also incredibly effective at regulating temperature and will keep you warm during the winter and help keep you cool during the summer.
Silk also has a range of benefits, including maintaining healthy skin, balancing temperature and wicking away moisture - ideal for intense activities where you're working up a sweat.
As you may have already guessed, the elastane adds stretch and flexibility to this baselayer, allowing you complete flexibility for more technical activities and all-day comfort.
What are its features?
There are few features to the Borooy. Most of the techy stuff lies within the fabric, keeping everything else down to a minimum to give it a streamlined, low-bulk finish.
However, it has a flattering scoop neckline and thick straps that give you just enough coverage where you need it. The vest has a tailored fit that slides underneath other layers easily in colder seasons, allowing you to create a versatile, effective system that feels comfortable and unrestrictive.
