What is the Bug Barrier™ Tech Travel LS II?
This long sleeve (LS) t-shirt is a comfy, versatile baselayer that has all the technical functionalities you need for a morning out hiking, with a casual, versatile style to run a few errands afterwards.
What is it made of?
Constructed using a moisture wicking jersey fabric with Tempratech™ technology, it combines a mix of polyester and elastane to create a smooth, soft feeling against the skin with a light stretch for enhanced mobility and freedom of movement. Tempratech™ actively works with the body to regulate temperature, maximising comfort during high-intensity activity and humid climates by balancing out the body's microclimate.
What are its features?
With a built-in Bug Barrier™, this t-shirt offers excellent protection against insects by repelling them away. Using Insect Shield®, an EPA registered treatment applied to the fabric, the technology provides durable, effective protection against creepy crawlies. It's super handy when you're spending a weekend away with the midges in the Scottish Highlands or exploring more tropical, mosquito-infested climates abroad.
The raglan sleeves offer more fabric around the shoulders to improve the movement and mobility of the arms and upper body. Flatlock seams are comfortable and smooth next to the skin, which helps to prevent rubbing and chafing when the shirt is being worn for long periods while minimising bulk for a refined, streamlined finish.
How does it fit?
Good question! It has a standard fit which feels comfortable, almost relaxing, as it provides plenty of room around the body without looking too big and baggy.
