What is the Madris ML?
The Madris ML is a sporty midlayer that offers wind and water-repellent protection for changeable mountain conditions. It's the perfect piece for hiking, trekking, travelling or even everyday errands a little closer to home.
What is it made of?
The main material is Stormfleece® which is a double-weave fleece that comprises recycled polyester and elastane. It's supple, exceptionally durable and has a four-way stretch that offers fantastic freedom of movement for climbing and mountaineering. Stormfleece® also has a lightweight, wind and water resistant outer that provides ample protection for tackling exposed routes and challenging mountain conditions and is lighter and less bulky than conventional two or three-layer fabrics.
The fleece is reinforced with a polyamide and elastane blend for additional longevity and added stretch.
To top it all off, the material and treatment is bluesign® approved, and this baselayer has been created in conjunction with FairWear standards.
bluesign® approval ensures that the materials have been safely produced and production methods have considered and met certain ethical and sustainable standards concerning the environment, the consumer and workers involved in the process.
Mammut also works with FairWear to ensure safe, ethical working conditions in their factories, helping to protect workers' rights and being considerate and sustainable with their processes.
What are its features?
Two zippered side pockets provide ample storage for essentials such as a wallet, mobile phone or trail snacks. The long front zip provides easy access and quick ventilation when needed.
The hem and cuffs are elasticated to improve fit by cinching material in, meaning you can easily wear layers over the top without the fleece feeling too bulky.
The Madris ML works great as a technical midlayer for hill walking, hiking and trekking, or as a cosy everyday piece closer to home - it's a super versatile addition to your wardrobe!
