What is the Madris Light ML Hooded Jacket?
It's a lightweight, versatile midlayer that makes a reliable companion for various adventures and conditions. The Madris Light ML works just as well as a lightweight outer layer for summer evenings around camp as it does a technical midlayer for climbing, mountaineering and snow sports.
What is it made of?
The main material is Stormfleece®, a double-weave fleece comprised of recycled polyester and elastane. It's supple, exceptionally durable and has a four-way stretch that offers fantastic freedom of movement for climbing and mountaineering. Stormfleece® also has a lightweight, wind and water-resistant outer that provides ample protection for tackling exposed routes and challenging mountain conditions.
The fabric is treated with HeiQ Fresh FFL, a bio-based technology that reduces unpleasant odours. So even after intense sessions, you won't return and offend your campmates with the whiffy smell.
The material and treatment are bluesign® approved, and this fleece has been created in conjunction with FairWear standards.

What are its features?
The hood has a snug fit, ensuring it can be worn comfortably underneath a helmet and making it ideal for climbing during winter when you need extra warmth and protection. A ponytail hole in the hood is also excellent when your hair is tied back - it keeps your ponytail from pressing into the crown of your head and causing headaches.
Flat seams enhance comfort and help prevent chafing when wearing a backpack or harness for extended periods.
Cuffs are elasticated to minimise bulk for layering underneath down or shell jackets. They also help to retain heat by drawing material closer to the skin, eliminating gaps and preventing the cool breeze from sneaking in.
There are two subtle side pockets with zipped openings for carrying small essentials like snacks, energy gels or a spare pair of gloves. An additional sleeve pocket also works perfectly for ski passes.
