What is it made of?
The front and top of the arms feature Octa insulation made from 100% recycled polyester. This material is effective at managing moisture. It allows sweat to evaporate, which helps keep you warmer and drier.
The Octa insulation's structure traps heat close to your body while letting moisture escape, ensuring you stay comfortable even during intense activities. Its lightweight nature doesn't add unnecessary bulk, making it perfect for maintaining mobility and comfort in various weather conditions.
The Norrona used Aero200 fabric for areas where some wind resistance is needed, such as the front of the jacket. This 100% recycled nylon weighs 48g/m² and provides wind resistance while being breathable, making it perfect for high-intensity activities. Its smooth surface has a soft touch and is treated with PFC-free water repellent to keep you comfortable in varying conditions.
PFCs, or perfluorinated compounds, are chemicals commonly used in water-resistant coatings but can harm the environment. By using a PFC-free treatment, the jacket provides effective water repellency and reduces a bad environmental impact.
The sides, hood, back, and underarms are made with Warm1 fleece, a blend of 70% recycled polyester and 30% polyester.
