What is the Nexus Jacket?
The Nexus is a soft fleece jacket that works great as a lightweight midlayer for intense mountain activities like hiking, scrambling, climbing or mountaineering. Additionally, it works just as well as a casual, day-to-day fleece, whether walking the dog before work or taking the kids to school. It really is a do-it-all piece!
What is it made of?
The Nexus has had an eco-friendly facelift, and is now made with recycled materials! Though recycled, this fleece still provides excellent thermal performance and comfort.
It uses Thermic™ G Circular backer fleece made from recycled polyester. Thermic™ fabrics are specially engineered to be lightweight, warm, fast drying and durable, and Thermic™ G is developed to provide improved air trapping (for warmth), good breathability and reduced weight. By balancing durability, warmth and fast drying properties, the material can provide the ultimate performance and adapt to various activities and conditions - perfect for intense mountain adventures!
What are its features?
The Nexus can easily be layered underneath a shell or insulated jacket, or worn on its own for milder, drier weather, making it versatile enough to wear in any season.
This fleece has a simple front zip fastening, with a zip guard that helps prevent it from catching or snagging.
Two zippered pockets give you plenty of storage options for energy gels, snacks, GPS devices or gloves. Each pocket is mesh lined, which is handy if you need extra ventilation - simply leave the pockets unzipped to let air flow through the mesh.
Flatlocked, low-bulk seams prevent chafing and rubbing if you're wearing just a vest or t-shirt underneath. Double cuffs also help to improve comfort and feel lovely and soft against the skin.
