What are the Mountain Mitts?
The Mountain Mitts are fully waterproof, synthetically insulated mitts designed for our typically wet, windy and wild UK winter conditions. The combination of the reliable Drilite membrane and tough Polarloft insulation is guaranteed to keep your hands warm and dry.
What are they made of?
The outer of the mitt is made using a tough nylon with a durable water repellent coating, while the palm uses Suregrip — a tacky fabric designed to increase grip when using walking poles or axes. Underneath these tough outer fabrics, you'll find a fully waterproof and windproof Drilite membrane, guaranteeing to keep your hands dry in the worst conditions.
While these fabrics provide high amounts of weather-resistance, it's the Polarloft synthetic insulation which makes these mitts so warm and comfortable. This versatile insulation provides high amounts of warmth and will dry quickly if you happen to get the mitts soaking wet. Finally, a brushed tricot lining increases comfort and will wick away sweat when you're working hard.
What are their features?
You get a single-handed drawcord closure and a loop on the cuff to hang them if they get a bit soggy. Other than that, they're pretty simple and bombproof things!
