What are they made of?
The outside of the Norrona Trollveggen gloves is made with strong Cordura ripstop flex1 softshell material, ensuring durability and longevity.
Inside, they have a lining made from a mix of Merino Wool and recycled polyester. This lining comforts your hands by managing sweat, regulating temperature, and stopping bad odours.
The palms and fingers of the gloves are reinforced with Pittards Armortan goat leather, which helps you grip things better and makes the gloves last longer.
Plus, they're insulated with Primaloft 100 Gold insulation in the palm and thermo160 insolation on the hand for warmth.
PrimaLoft Gold 130g is super light and soft, designed to keep you warm without weighing you down. The US Army developed it to be a better alternative to natural down, which gets soggy when wet and stops keeping you warm. PrimaLoft absorbs way less water, and it stays warmer even when it's wet. Compared to other insulation, it's 14% warmer when dry and a whopping 24% warmer when wet.
These gloves also come with two technologies: Gore-Tex Grip and Gore-Tex Gloves.
The Grip tech makes sure the gloves fit well and give you a good grip. The layers are bonded tightly together, so they don't shift around when you move your hands. That means you can hold onto your ski poles or zip up your jacket without any hassle.
