What is the Trail Lite Cap?
The Trail Lite is a lightweight cap that protects you from the harsh sunlight on exposed trails and mountain routes. The technical construction feels highly breathable, and moisture wicking technology helps to keep you fresh and comfortable during intense sessions.
What is it made of?
The main material used to construct the Trail Lite Cap is Aeroflyte QD, which is lightweight and breathable. The internal headband is made of CoolMax® polyester, designed to help manage moisture and sweat so you can beat the heat. It can effectively wick away moisture, preventing it from building up around your head for improved freshness and overall comfort.
What are its features?
This cap has a stiffened, pre-curved peak that sits nicely across the forehead to shade your head from the sun and help to block strong sunlight from your eyes. The peak is perforated to save weight, which is unnoticeable when worn but ideal for cramming into a backpack or kit bag without adding unnecessary grams to your load.
Laser-cut ventilation holes across the top of the head increase airflow to help regulate temperature when working up a sweat.
A hook and loop adjustment at the back allows you to adapt the fit around different head shapes and sizes.
Montane has finished the design with subtle reflective detailing to increase visibility in poor conditions or for after-dusk activities.
