What is the Filament Beanie?
The Filament Beanie is a lightweight, breathable beanie hat that is versatile enough for almost any activity! Layer it under a hood in extreme conditions, or pop it on for a morning jog when it's a little nippy out.
What is it made of?
The main fabric is Thermic™ S Recycled Polyester Fleece with a striped backer. It's more sustainable than other non-recycled fleece fabrics and still feels lightweight and soft next to the skin.
The striped backer uses two different types of fleece (high loft and low loft) to reduce the bulk without compromising warmth. The striped backer also improves airflow to maximise the breathability of the hat when you're working up a sweat.
What are the features?
The simplicity of the Filament Beanie is what makes it so brilliant! Most of the techy bits lie within the fabric of this hat, so the actual construction is almost basic.
However, overall it has a streamlined design with minimised seams to lessen weight. Yet, it is effective enough to endure long ascents and multi-day winter adventures comfortably.
A subtle Rab logo is embroidered onto the hat to finish.
