What is the Rime IN Flex Hooded Jacket?
The Rime IN Flex Hooded Jacket is a versatile jacket that can be worn both on and off the hill. It provides an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio and uses soft, protective, durable materials for optimum comfort.
What is it made of?
A Pertex® Quantum® Air recycled polyester face material feels smooth, soft, flexible, and lightweight. It's a great alternative to conventional materials because it keeps old materials and yarn in the loop, preventing them from going to landfills. Pertex® Quantum® Air also provides reliable wind and water resistance for changeable days on the hill.
The lining is made with nylon, which provides exceptional durability. This helps make this jacket last even longer and provides a smooth, comfortable finish inside.
The jacket is insulated with zoned Recycled Rope Insulation in the body, arms, and hood. This insulation is made from recycled climbing ropes in an effort to reduce industry waste and lower the environmental impact of this jacket. One massive benefit of synthetic insulation is that it provides ample warmth, even when damp, making it great for unpredictable conditions.
The outer material is finished with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent). The PFC-free DWR encourages water to bead off the material instead of soaking in and avoids the use of harmful 'forever chemicals' that permanently damage our ecosystems.

What are its features?
A one-point adjustable hood is user-friendly and protects the head and neck when required. At the front, a two-way zip allows for easy on-and-off, extra ventilation, and easy access to a climbing harness.
For storage, you get two harness and backpack-compatible hand pockets fastened with zips for extra security. There's also an additional zipped chest pocket for small essentials and belongings.
You can adjust the hem of the jacket using the drawstring adjuster. Cuffs are also elasticated to provide a little extra flexibility and accommodate gloves and smartwatches comfortably.
