What is the Andola Hooded Jacket?
The Andola is a versatile, wool-insulated jacket designed for cold-weather activities, whether exploring a beautiful mountain landscape or the local rolling hills. It's lightweight, naturally temperature-regulating and incredibly comfortable.
What is it made of?
The face fabric of the Andola is a lightweight, 20D ripstop nylon, which provides excellent wind resistance and durability. This material also has a light stretch for extra mobility and is treated with an FC-free DWR (durable water repellent) for extra weather protection without the harmful forever chemicals.
*Please note that DWR does not make the jacket waterproof; it encourages light rain and snow to bead off the face material.
The jacket is insulated with UK-sourced HD® Wool insulation, containing 75% wool and 25% polylactic acid. This insulation provides a high level of warmth and temperature regulation. HD® Wool is grown from verified farms through an assurance program named The Woolkeepers®. It offers ecological advantages by driving land regeneration with grazing sheep. Wool insulation is also a great, natural, biodegradable alternative to synthetic insulation, yet a little more robust than down. It has a lesser carbon footprint because it is a natural material sourced from the UK.
The lining comprises recycled nylon, which offers a smooth, comfortable finish without compromising durability. Again, this material has a lesser environmental impact due to the recycled content.

This jacket is made with an M.E 'Mountain Fit', which is more roomy, and has articulated and pre-shaped sleeves to provide optimum performance and freedom of movement.
The Mountain Hood is insulated to protect your head and ears from the brisk winter breeze.
A YKK® moulded centre front zip allows for easy on-and-off and provides ventilation if you're working hard.
For storage, there are two zipped hand warmer pockets and an inner zipped security pocket, which is perfect for valuables like keys, a wallet, mobile phone, or GPS device.
The elasticated cuffs and concealed hem drawcords help to cinch the material where needed to keep the heat in without feeling restrictive.
