What is the Ventour 1/4 Zip Sweater?
It's the essential 1/4 zip for everyday use and casual outdoor adventures. It performs similarly to a technical midlayer, yet has the looks of a classic sweater, making it the perfect inbetween piece for autumn and winter.
What is it made of?
This sweater uses a combination of non-mulesed merino wool, nylon and Modal™ yarns to create a super soft, naturally technical material.
Merino wool is naturally odour resistant, thermoregulating, warm and durable, providing all the functions you'll need when venturing outdoors and even keeping you comfortable closer to home.
If you weren't sure, non-mulesed, or mulesing-free wool, means that the wool has been sourced from happy sheep who haven't had to endure painful mulesing procedures to produce it.
Nylon adds extra durability to withstand regular wear, and Modal™ gives the fabric a luxurious texture with lesser impact on the environment.
TENCEL™ Modal is an eco-friendly, biodegradable and compostable material that uses fibres from naturally grown beech wood using a responsible pulp-to-fibre process. The process is self-sufficient in energy and recovers co-products from component parts of the wood. The fibre itself is renowned for its exceptional softness, giving this sweater a lavish feel.
What are the features?
As mentioned, there's a 1/4 zip opening on the front for extra ventilation and adjustability. It has a fully fashioned construction and open-stitching placed in areas that might get hot quickly, helping to balance out your body temperature when working up a sweat on steep inclines or doing some DIY around the house.
