What is the Canada Shirt?
The Canada Shirt embodies a classic take on country clothing. Whether the outdoors is a lifestyle or a weekend hobby, this shirt has a timeless, stylish design made of functional, recycled materials to keep you comfortable all day long.
What is it made of?
This shirt uses a blend of mainly wool and recycled polyester to create its soft texture. It has G1000® Eco reinforcements on the front placket, collar, pocket flaps and the reverse side of the cuffs to reduce wear and abrasion from wearing a watch, GPS or fitness tracker.
The wool polyester blend is warm, durable and breathable. It doesn't feel too big and bulky, making it the perfect piece to wear either as a jacket on a sunny autumn day or even as a cosy midlayer over a t-shirt or baselayer during winter.
As for the reinforcement areas, G1000® Eco is one of Fjallraven's cornerstone materials. It uses a blend of 65% recycled polyester and 35% cotton, which is lightweight, ventilating and hardwearing.
G1000® materials can be adapted to different personal preferences or climatic conditions using Greenland Wax. The wax allows you to customise the fabric's properties, such as wind and water resistance and breathability. On this shirt, for example, it may be handy to increase the weather protection on the pockets to keep valuables more protected.

What are its features?
The Canada Shirt has two chest pockets with envelope-style flaps that are easy to use and compliment the traditional look of the shirt. Each pocket is fastened with a simple press button for quick access or closure. As previously mentioned, high wear areas are reinforced with G1000® Eco to improve the longevity of this piece, making it more cost-effective and sustainable as it will last you longer than lesser quality garments.
