What are the Abisko Hike Trousers?
The Abisko Hike Trousers are lightweight, comfortable and highly packable outdoor trousers. Their small pack size and breathable properties make them great for travelling, multiday hiking and trekking in warmer climates.
What are they made from?
These comfortable trousers are constructed using G1000® Air Stretch, which comprises recycled polyester and organic cotton.
This material has an incredibly smooth finish that is pleasant against the skin, whilst being light and airy to help regulate temperature. The fabric's mechanical stretch improves freedom of movement for navigating tricky terrain and steep ascents whilst enhancing comfort for everyday wear.
G1000® materials can be adapted to different personal preferences or climatic conditions using Greenland Wax. The wax allows you to customise the fabric's properties, such as wind and water resistance and breathability.

What are their features?
The Abisko Hike Trousers have an integrated belt that is low bulk and won't get in your way when moving dynamically. It allows you to easily adjust the fit around the waist and feels flexible when worn and is removable. The waistband is stretchy and comfortable, so it doesn't dig in when you're reaching down to get items out of your backpack.
The trousers feature an articulated cut and articulated knees for a natural range of movement, allowing you to tackle steep inclines and uneven terrain without feeling restricted.
For storage, there are two zippered hand pockets and one zippered pocket on the right leg. Ventilation zips at the sides allow you to increase the airflow inside the trousers if you're starting to get warm during your hike.
Finally, the ends of the trouser legs feature drawcord adjusters so you can cinch them in for a close fit to your boots, preventing any critters from getting inside your trousers when walking through long grass.
How do they fit?
The Abisko Hike Trousers are created in a Relaxed fit in Fjallraven's new body standard. This new fit aims to accommodate the posture, proportions, size, and shape of its customers more accurately.
