What are the S/F Riders Hybrid Trousers?
Fjallraven has teamed up with the legendary cycling brand Specialized to create a range of stylish, versatile products made by riders, for riders.
The S/F Riders Hybrid Trousers are pretty much as named. They're super versatile trousers, made for multi-sport, multi-lifestyle use. Ideal for biking, hiking or running errands when you might run into the odd rain shower or two.
What are they made of?
These comfortable trousers have a dual fabric construction, with Fjallraven's G-1000 Lite fabric to the front to block out wind and light rain. Four-way stretch fabric to the rear provides an excellent range of movement and all-day comfort whilst riding.
Fjallraven's G-1000 Lite Eco Stretch fabric is made from organic cotton and recycled polyester. It's also free from forever chemicals and uses Fluorocarbon-free impregnation for its weather resistance, helping reduce this product's environmental impact.
The G-1000 front section of the trousers can be adapted with Greenland Wax to increase wind and water resistance. A unique balance of protection and breathability keeps you comfortable during various activities in various climates. The Greenland Wax allows you to easily play around and tailor this protection to suit your needs without hindering the product's breathability. It can even be washed out and re-applied for seasonal use.
What are its features?
The S/F Riders Hybrid Trousers are water and wind-resistant, offering light protection from the elements. They feature a regular tapered fit for versatile use and articulated knees, providing a more natural fit and allowing the joints to move without restriction.
Optimised for on-bike comfort, they feature a hybrid 'no seam' waistband on the front and an elasticated waist to the rear so they won't dig in on long rides. This comfortable waistband is also mesh-lined and allows moisture to wick away from your body easily.
Four zipped pockets provide plenty of storage for your phone, wallet, keys and your favourite on-the-bike snacks. The two thigh pockets double up nicely as extra ventilation if you're working up a sweat. Simply leave them unzipped to allow airflow through.
These stylish yet functional trousers are finished with reflective details on the outside lower leg and the inside hems. When riding at night, turn up the cuffs to expose them for more visibility.
