What are the Abisko Trekking Tights Pro?
Fjallraven has updated their original Abisko Trekking Tights to create these - the Abisko Trekking Tights Pro. They're soft leggings that still have all the comfort and durability you need for a day out on the hill, with a few improved features to keep you feeling your best.
What are they made of?
The Abisko Trekking Tights Pro are constructed with a blend of recycled polyester and stretch in a premium double knit, that feels lightweight and comfortable next to the skin. One of the huge benefits of this material is that it stays opaque when it flexes, so you don't have to worry about showing off all your glory when stretching for your next move or hitting the squat rack in the gym!
These leggings also have Cordura® reinforcement patches in high wear areas, with a water repellent finish that adds extra protection for rough weather or sitting on damp ground.
Cordura® is known for its strength and durability. It's perfect for outdoor use as it can withstand scrapes and abrasion from rough surfaces or jagged rock. The Cordura® used on these leggings has an integrated stretch, meaning it moves comfortably with the rest of the leggings as you do.
What features do they have?
These leggings have a high waistband that feels secure and provides plenty of coverage around the lower stomach. You can adjust the waist easily to enhance the fit a little more by using the subtle drawstring adjuster.
They have flatlock seams and a gusset at the crotch to help prevent chafing if you're wearing these leggings for more extended periods or working up a sweat during intense sessions. The gusset also provides better freedom of movement and flexibility in vital areas to help prevent any split trouser moments when you're stretching out!
In terms of storage, there's one envelope pocket and one pillow pocket that will easily hold a mobile phone, energy gels or snacks to keep you energised on longer trails. Both of the pockets are angled ergonomically to make them easier to access.
The leg comes in at 7-8 length with a low profile, low bulk hem that feels much more comfortable when you need to layer socks and hiking boots.
