What are the Massone Light Pants?
They're lightweight, durable trousers built by climbers, for climbers. They offer fantastic freedom of movement for technical ascents and are robust enough to survive regular use, whether bouldering, top roping or indoor climbing. Plus, they're versatile enough to wear casually when you want something more functional yet comfy - win win!
What are they made of?
The Massone Light Pants comprise a mix of robust polyamide and spandex to offer all the durability and stretch you need for long days on the rockface. It offers optimum mobility, essential for climbing, and has a lovely smooth finish which feels comfortable against the skin.
The material is treated with PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent), which encourages water to bead off the fabric instead of soaking in. Although please note that this does not make it completely waterproof.
PFC-free treatments are also much healthier for the planet as they don't use harmful per-fluorinated chemicals, aka 'forever chemicals' that stay in the environment after use.
To top it all off, the material and treatment are bluesign® approved, and this product has been created in conjunction with FairWear standards.
bluesign® approval ensures that the materials have been safely produced and production methods have considered and met certain ethical and sustainable standards concerning the environment, the consumer and workers involved in the process.

What are their features?
The waistband is elasticated and has a drawstring adjuster to optimise the fit around the waist and keep the trousers in place as you move and stretch during your ascent. The front is secured with a concealed fly and snap button fastenings for security and to lessen the bulk in vital areas.
In terms of storage, there's a seat pocket with a concealed zipper to keep chunkier items and valuables safe, even when you're upside down! It's great for mobile phones or a GPS that would get in your way if stored around the front. There are two front pockets for smaller essentials like snacks and energy gels to keep you fuelled as you work hard.
These trousers have a flattering, modern cut and a 7/8 length, making them comfy, great for warmer conditions and versatile enough to wear casually without looking out of place.
