What are the Jetstream 5" Shorts?
They're lightweight, minimalist shorts that offer comfort and freedom of movement for various fast-paced adventures such as trail running, mountain running, fastpacking or ultra running. These highly versatile shorts work equally well at the gym and for everyday outdoor use in hot climates.
What are they made of?
The shorts are made from Montane's Aeroflyte Lite fabric, which is comprised of recycled nylon and elastane. This lightweight material features a robust two-way stretch for great freedom of movement and is exceptionally durable, allowing it to withstand frequent use on long trails.
Aeroflyte Lite also features excellent moisture management properties and is quick-drying, helping to keep you dry and comfortable when you're working hard in hot climates.
What are their features?
The shorts feature a low-profile stretch waistband for a flexible and comfortable fit, especially when moving dynamically on the trail or stretching to warm up beforehand. The waistband can be adjusted for the perfect fit using the internal drawstring, so you don't have to worry about them slipping down when moving fast on the trail.
Side splits help increase freedom of movement for stepping up high and moving fast on the trail, whilst bonded hems throughout provide a low-profile finish to help reduce chafing or discomfort in high-friction areas. A single internal pocket offers space for smaller essentials such as keys, bank cards or energy gels.
To give you an idea of fit, the Jetstream Shorts are created with Montane's precision-engineered run fit. Meaning the shorts sit close enough to the body to reduce excess material that would flap around in the wind whilst still providing enough room for freedom of movement. The inseam of these shorts measures 5 inches, which gives you a nice amount of coverage for various activities.
