What are the Katla Twin Skin Shorts?The Katla Twin Skin Shorts are primarily designed as a lightweight trail and mountain running short, equally as well suited to endurance events as they are to shorter distances and gym use.
What are they made from?The shorts are effectively split into two main components, the close-fitting inner and the lightweight, looser fit overshort.
The inner short and stretch waistband is made from CARVICO with Econyl, a 100% recycled nylon yarn. The close fit provides comfort and helps avoid chafe, as well as helping to prevent the short from rising up.
The overshort is made from Aeroflyte QD, a lightweight stretch fabric that offers protection from wind and sun, along with fast-drying properties.
What are the features?The Katla Twin Skin Shorts feature a 4” inseam on the inner short (UK size 10), with the outer
coming up a little shorter and looser to allow for greater freedom of movement. The waistband offers both stretch and an internal drawcord for optimal adjustment. A YKK zipped rear pocket takes care of storage for valuables, whilst a pair of small pockets designed for gel shots add extra storage for longer runs. The shorts also feature reflective VIA details to help with visibility in adverse conditions.
