What are the Liskamm Pants?
These are fully windproof softshell trousers with Gore-Tex® Infinium technology for high weather resistance and flexibility to enhance performance on mountain adventures. The Liskamm Pants are durable and hard wearing, thanks to the Kevlar® composite reinforcement panels in vital areas for added support in the toughest terrains.
What are they made of?
Crafted with a specialised Gore-Tex® Infinium X-Fast 230 softshell and Black Kevlar® composite reinforcements, these trousers are incredibly hardy to withstand abrasion from the roughest surfaces.
Gore-Tex® Infinium - This Gore-Tex® technology features an integrated membrane that blocks wind to improve warmth and heat retention. Gore-Tex® Infinium also has moisture wicking properties, creating a permeable layer for sweat to escape through the membrane and be wicked away. Moisture wicking fabrics have a considerable advantage in balancing the body's micro-climate. They help regulate temperature and prevent radiant heat loss.
Kevlar® - Providing a balance of form and function, Kevlar® is an extremely strong yet lightweight material that can resist corrosion and heat. It's an incredibly rugged fabric and is perfect for serious outdoor clothing.

Alongside their durable, super tough fabric, the Liskamm Pants have a range of technical details to help you perform your best and feel at ease during outdoor pursuits.
Two practical hand pockets sit on the front hips, ideal for stowing away light snacks, a compass or GPS. They are secured with a zippered pocket for safe storage. There are also two zippered thigh pockets for additional carry room, alongside two thigh vents for working up a sweat near the summit. Thigh vents are really handy in changeable conditions to help regulate the body's microclimate and provide extra airflow during high intensity activity when body temperature increases.
An integrated belt helps you achieve a comfortable fit around the waist, secured with a press stud waist closure that is quick and easy to close.
Ankle zips and an internal gusset panel sit at the bottom of the design, which makes accomodating chunky mountain boots much more straightforward. There is an adjustable hem with concealed lace hooks that allow the user to adapt the fit of the trousers whilst helping to seal out nasty weather.
How do they fit?
Mountain Equipment has labelled these trousers as a mountain fit. Mountain fit sits a little looser on the frame compared to active fit garments from the brand. This allows better freedom of movement and provides an opportunity to layer in colder climates.
