What is the Dynamo Skort?
This technical, fast drying skort is everything you want for fast, hot days out in the mountains – not only is it incredibly comfortable, but it’s supportive and incredibly durable. What is it made of?
The Dynamo Skort is made using Exolite 100 Soft Shell outer fabric with soft, supportive, stretchy inner shorts. Exolite is a fabric you’ll find in a wide range of products in the Mountain Equipment range – and with good reason. Its breathable, moisture wicking, fast drying and abrasion resistant which means you don’t have to worry about ripping a big hole in them on tough scrambles.
What are the features?
As I mentioned before, the Dynamo has three pockets – two hand pockets that will fit most phones (although, if you’re running in it, I’d recommend stashing valuables in your pack) and a concealed YKK rear pocket which is where I like to stash a running gel or keys. To add to the excellent fit, the Dynamo also comes fitted with a low volume stretch waistband with an integrated drawcord, so you can synch them in to feel the full support (and let them out again after lunch).
How does it fit?
Good question – the Dynamo kind if has two different fits going on. The inner shorts fit snug to help protect from chafing but are long enough to offer full coverage. The skirt section fits a bit looser so you aren’t hindered in your movement. The Dynamo sits at about mid-thigh length and has a small side slit for a bit of extra movement.
