What are the Dynamo Twin Shorts?
The Dynamo Twin Shorts are high performance, two-layer women's shorts, with a soft and stretchy gusseted inner liner built into a lightweight 100 stretch Soft Shell outer. They’re suitable for hiking, trekking, trail and fell running during warmer seasons or even training in the gym.
What are they made of?
The inner shorts are made from a combination of 85% Polyamide, 15% Elastane, which feel super soft and smooth on the skin, with the ability to move with the body for a less restrictive feel. The full stretch, double weave outer is made from 94% Polyamide, 6% Elastane and uses Exolite 100 stretch Soft Shell fabric, with PFC free DWR.
PFC free durable water repellent (DWR) finishes create a light water repellent barrier on the fabric, offering some protection if you get caught in a sudden shower during your adventures. As the DWR Is PFC free, it means it doesn’t use perfluorinated chemicals which cause harm to the environment, making it a much more sustainable way to finish a garment.
What are their features?
Soft and stretchy fabrics are used inside and out for increased mobility and comfort when you’re busy pushing yourself to the limits in the mountains. They feel super lightweight and are fast drying to keep you comfortable when you’re working up a sweat in the less predictable British weather.
The inner shorts have a gusset panel which helps you to stretch easily and use more dynamic movements for extra support in rougher, more rugged terrain. Silicone dots are printed on the inside of the hem to prevent them from riding up or rubbing on the skin, so no matter how challenging the ascent, you’ll be comfortable throughout.
The wide waistband, reminiscent of yoga pants, reduces pinching and rolling up while you are on the move. It has a deep cut for supportive coverage, helping you to feel more comfortable and confident when taking on new challenges. Built into the waistband is a stretch drawcord adjustment, which provides a perfect balance between security and comfort, as it can be used to tighten the shorts to the waist whilst moving and breathing with the body. A rear pocket on the wide and stretchy waistband to keep small items close, perfect for storing energy gels or your phone.
How do they fit?
These shorts come in a regular fit with the short liner fitting tighter to the body so that it can wick away moisture quickly and move with the body during more intense activity.
