What is the Rab Cirrus Skirt?
What do you do when you've already bought your Microlight Alpine, Nebula Jacket or similar piece of insulation but require a little 'more' for cold winter days while stationary? Well, the Cirrus skirt may be your answer. It is perfect for layering when ski touring, hiking or belaying in cold conditions.
The Cirrus skirt is an insulated skirt that adds further warmth to your existing jacket. It offers the same warmth as a conventional parka when coupled with an existing insulated jacket (such as the Nebula or Cirrus Jacket from Rab) that you may already own. It also saves you money as you won't have to purchase a parka on top of what you already have.
What is it made of?
It features PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Luxe synthetic insulation which is warm, packable, lightweight and virtually unaffected by moisture if you happen to get caught out in a shower. Down the sides of the skirt are elastane stretch side panels, which allows for extra movement, so the skirt won’t restrict you.
The material in the outer of the Cirrus Skirt is Pertex Quantum ripstop nylon, which is soft, breathable, and packable, and has exceptional abrasion resistance. So not only does the cirrus skirt allow sweat to escape, but also stashes away when you don’t need it.
What are the features?
The Cirrus skirt features and elasticated Matrix waistband and a double ended full length front YKK Vislon zip, which you can unzip from the bottom for extra movement when you need it. The YKK zipped hand pockets give you extra storage to pop your keys and other essential bits. The hem is ergonomically shaped for active use.
How does it fit?
The Cirrus skirt uses Rabs ‘Regular’ fit, which means it’s snug enough to sit round your waist without falling down, but still allows you to wear a layer (e.g tights, leggings or trousers) underneath it.
