90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

For your convenience, follow here to the Royal Mail Returns Portal to arrange return postage for your items. Please use our warehouse returns address (Returns, Unit H&J, Moreton Business Park, Hereford, HR4 8DS) when completing the form.

What are the Downpour Mountain Pants?

They're lighweight, highly packable and protective waterproof trousers that are built with 2.5-layer Pertex® Shield technology. Soft and comfortable, they boast superb knee articulation for complete mobility, making them suitable for wide range of outdoor activites.

What are they made from?

The Downpour Mountain Pants uses a 2.5 layer Pertex® Shield construction, which is a highly breathable, waterproof fabric designed for use in the mountains when protection, weight and breathability are key. This 2.5 layer construction combines a robust 40D face fabric and a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane with a smooth backer. The face fabric is finished with a PFC-Free DWR (durable water repellent) coating to encourage rain to bead off the trousers instead of soaking in, without the use of harmful forever chemicals.

Pertex® Shield delivers a hydrostatic head rating of 20,000mm and a breathability MVTR score of 20,000 g/m2/24hrs, meaning it offers great waterproof protection and breathability, making them suitable for various outdoor activities.

What are their features?

These versatile waterproof overtrousers feature a concise feature set to keep weight and pack size to a minimum. A lightweight, part-elasticated waistband with a hoop and loop closure provides a secure and comfortable fit for a variety of outdoor activities.

Articulation at the knees and a long-length gusset at the crotch provide ease of movement for various outdoor activities. The full-length, two-way YKK® AquaGuard® side zips make it easy to pop them on and off when the heavens open, even over chunky boots. The side zips feature triple pullers for flexible ventilation options, whilst the internal storm guards prevent water and wind from entering the trousers via the zips. Snap closure adjustments to the bottom hem allow you to easily tailor the fit around a variety of different footwear styles.

1Bust

3Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips. As a guideline this is often 20cm below your natural waistline.

4Inside leg

Measure from the top of the inside leg to the floor.

5Sleeve

This is a bit more tricky! Measure from the top of your spine (at the bottom of your neck) to your elbow and on the your wrist

6Arm

You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured. You should take the measurement at the point where you would like the sleeve to end. This is usually just past your wrist.
