What are the Incline Pants?
The Incline Pants are an adaptable, lightweight pair of classic hiking trousers. These all-season pants are ideal for hiking and hill-walking, designed with strategic detailing and technical fabrics to optimise comfort and performance outdoors.
What are they made of?
Rab has constructed these trousers using Matrix™ stretch double weave nylon, a flexible softshell fabric that is lightweight and durable to help you keep going whatever the weather. The fluorocarbon-free DWR creates a water repellent barrier, offering extra protection from harsh conditions. These then are ideal for exploring the hills come rain or shine, whether that’s in the Peak District or further afield.
What are their features?
The specialised, mid-weight, stretch fabric allows great manoeuvrability for tackling steep inclines. A shaped waistband with belt loops, double snap closure and YKK® zip fly fastening, help keep the trousers secure and in place at all times. Two zippered hand pockets are ideal for stowing your lip balm, snacks, and gum, transforming them into a practical casual trouser option for day-to-day duties. A secure zippered thigh pocket and rear pocket give extra storage options for bulkier items like your phone or wallet.
Articulated knees allow ease of movement to improve comfort when you really need it. The long length gusset at the crotch provides further mobility and reinforcement at the seams. Twin needle topstitching runs throughout the design to enhance the strength and durability of the seams, meaning they can take a challenge on steeper inclines where you often need more flexibility and stretch than flat surfaces. A tethered drawcord hem is great to adjust the fit around the ankle area. This small detail allows you to personalise the fit of the pants and the overall look, especially useful if you want to wear them as everyday, functional trousers.

These are regular fit trousers, meaning they sit slightly looser on the frame to allow extra movability and airflow.
