What are the Basalt Pants?
These cotton blend trousers are designed with performance in mind. They are comfortable for any activity, anywhere, and provide plenty of warmth, stretch and durability to endure either mountain use or everyday wear.
What are they made of?
The Basalt Pants are made with a two-sided, wrinkle resistant stretch fabric that uses a mixture of cotton, recycled polyester and elastane.
The cotton gives the face fabric extra durability and is responsibly sourced, keeping farmers and the planet happy, while the recycled polyester provides next-to-skin comfort and thermal performance. They are blended to create a two-tone knit with a denim-like look, so you could even dress these trousers down with a t-shirt or hoodie and wear them more casually. Elastane is added to provide stretch, improving freedom of movement, comfort and flexibility.
The material is treated with a silver-free HeiQ Fresh FLL treatment for odour control. It is a more sustainable alternative to traditional treatments, yet doesn't compromise its performance or longevity.
What are their features?
The fit of these trousers is trim and flattering to keep you feeling and looking your best all day long. They have two zippered hand pockets on the front, perfect for keys, earbuds or a mobile phone. For extra storage, there are two back drop-in pockets for belongings with a lesser value that you may want to access quickly, such as hill snacks and energy gels.
