What are the Bug Barrier™ Jammer Zip Pants?

What are they made of?
These pants are constructed with Jammer Stretch Woven Nylon, which provides a flexible yet durable layer of protection. It feels smooth on the skin and slightly stretches to improve freedom of movement and mobility when tackling steep ascents and tricky scrambles. The fabric is quick drying and light, which works well drying out in the summer breeze, and wrinkle resistant to help improve longevity, so they still look factory fresh after every wear.
What are their features?
Insects will not be a problem with these trousers - they have a built-in Bug Barrier™ to help prevent bites from annoying insects like mosquitos and midges.
Bug Barrier™ offers exceptional protection from bitey creepy crawlies. It uses Insect Shield®, an EPA registered treatment applied to the fabric, proven to provide long lasting, effective protection against insects - perfect for spending a weekend away in the Scottish Highlands or exploring tropical climates abroad on longer expeditions.
If you need a little extra ventilation around your legs, these trousers easily convert to capri pants using the zip, snap, hook-and-loop system... bit of a mouthful, right? The system is easier to use than it sounds! It allows you to remove the bottom part of the trouser leg for some additional, optional exposure without taking your shoes or boots off. Super easy and convenient!
There are plenty of storage options, starting with traditional open hand pockets just below the waistband. These pockets are ideal for storing items you may want to access quickly, like energy gels or snacks for when you're getting a little hangry on the trails (we've all been there!).
One of the back pockets has a hook-and-loop closure that is secure yet easy to use. The other is fastened with a zip - perfect for keeping your phone, wallet, or keys safe on the trails.
These trousers are super easy and comfy to move around in. They have articulated knees which helps to improve freedom of movement for tackling steep ascents and technical scrambles.
