What are the S/F Riders Hybrid Shorts?
Fjallraven has teamed up with the legendary cycling brand Specialized to create a range of stylish, versatile products made by riders, for riders.
The S/F Riders Hybrid Shorts are pretty much as named. They're super versatile shorts, made for multi-sport, multi-lifestyle use. Suitable for biking, hiking or running errands in warmer climates, where you might run into the odd rain shower or two.
As much at home in the pub as they are on the bike, once you've worked up a thirst, these stylish shorts are a great alternative to those cheeky Lycra shorts for a nice refreshing pint in a sunny beer garden.
What are they made of?
These stylish shorts have a dual fabric construction, with Fjallraven's G-1000 Lite fabric to the front to block out wind and light rain. Four-way stretch panels to the rear provide an excellent range of movement and all-day comfort whilst riding.
Fjallraven's G-1000 Lite Eco Stretch fabric is made from organic cotton and recycled polyester. It's also free from forever chemicals and uses Fluorocarbon-free impregnation for its weather resistance, helping reduce this product's environmental impact.
The G-1000 front section of the shorts can be adapted with Greenland Wax to increase wind and water resistance. A unique balance of protection and breathability keeps you comfortable during various activities in various climates. The Greenland Wax allows you to easily play around and tailor this protection to suit your needs without hindering the product's breathability. It can even be washed out and re-applied for seasonal use.
What are its features?
The S/F Riders Hybrid Shorts are water and wind-resistant, offering light protection from the elements. Optimised for on-bike comfort, they feature a hybrid 'no seam' waistband on the front and an elasticated waist to the rear so they won't dig in on long rides. This comfortable waistband is also mesh-lined and allows moisture to wick away from your body easily.
A total of four pockets provides plenty of storage for your phone, wallet, keys and your favourite on-the-bike snacks. The two hip pockets have a secure zip closure, whilst the two lower pockets feature easy snap buttons to keep your essentials safe.
These stylish yet functional shorts are completed with a reinforced gusset for added durability and turn-up hems with reflective strips for added visibility when riding at night.
