What are the Thermal Escape Leggings?

What are they made of?
The Escape Leggings are constructed from high-performance Aqua-X fabric, made from recycled polyamide and elastane. Aqua-X is a super soft, lightweight, stretchy material with excellent moisture-wicking capabilities. It has been cleverly constructed, allowing the yarns to efficiently diffuse water, cooling the skin quickly as you start to work up a sweat.
In fact, Aqua-X is 30% cooler than standard polyester and 14% cooler than regular polyamide to wear. It also has a UV rating of UPF 50+ to protect you in exposed, sunny environments. Neat, huh?
To top it all off, it's also durable enough to withstand regular wear in rugged terrain and has a super soft fleece lining for added coziness.
What are their features?
The Escape leggings are lined with a super soft fleece, providing a luxurious feel and warmth. Created as a cosy next-to-skin layer, they feature a close fit for optimum thermal performance and all-day comfort.
An elasticated wide, low-bulk waistband creates a supportive fit with generous coverage. It provides excellent freedom of movement without feeling like they are about to fall down or dig in mid-hike.
A self-fabric hem helps prevent discomfort, rubbing and chafing when working up a sweat or wearing them for extended periods.
For storage, there are a total of two thigh pockets. One zipped, perfect for storing your lip balm and keys so you don't drop them on steep inclines and one deep stretch mesh pocket that makes a comfortable home for your mobile phone, keeping it out your way for technical ascents but close to hand for plenty of photos of the scenery and a cheeky selfie at the summit for extra Strava kudos.
