What are the Bergler Boots?
The Bergler Boots are traditional double-stitched boots designed for mountain hiking. They provide excellent durability and comfort, and are versatile enough for hill walking, woodland hiking and relaxed mountain adventures.
What are they made of?
The upper of the boots is constructed with tough Nubuck leather that is soft and flexible for out-of-the-box comfort. Nubuck leather is also breathable and naturally water resistant (not fully waterproof), meaning it'll still serve you well in damp conditions and won't make your feet too hot and sweaty if you're working hard.
They have a durable leather lining that feels exceptionally soft and smooth on the skin, so even with thinner socks they're still super comfy.
The Vibram® Tessin wedge outer sole provides plenty of grip and traction on rugged terrain, both in forest and mountain areas, making them versatile for more traditional adventures, perfect for the UK. Once they look a little worse for wear, you won't even need to throw these boots away! The soles are resoleable, making them much more sustainable than many other boots, ensuring that you'll be able to keep them for years to come and saving you a few pennies too!
What are their features?
The cuffs of the boots are padded with soft leather for better support and improved comfort. The high-quality, double-stitched construction reinforces the durability of the boots to increase their overall lifespan.
They have a traditional lace-up system that uses clamping lace hooks and partial ball bearing lacing, forcing the laces to stay secure and in place when walking.
