What are the G12 Dual Matic EVO?
These are 12-point crampons designed for glacier walking and classic and technical mountaineering. Built with durable materials and an adaptable, adjustable configuration, they provide maximum performance and versatility for keen mountain climbers during the winter.
What are they made of?
The frame and spikes underneath the boot are made from durable steel. It's highly robust yet lightweight and not too bulky, offering the perfect balance of precision and performance.
What are their features?
The G12 crampons have 12 points in total - eight in the front and four in the back, providing excellent stability in all snow and ice conditions. They're fully adjustable and will fit any type of mountaineering boot.
Grivel Proactive Antibott prevents snow and ice from building up underneath - a potentially hazardous problem that can cause you to lose grip and stability. The Antibott is the ball-shaped element on the bottom of the crampon. It unloads snow with every step by taking advantage of the movement of your foot using an elastic action.
The Dual Matic EVO binding system uses Modular components; these components are part of the 'Alpen Adapt' system. This system features interchangeable parts, providing a more personalised fit and improved usability for different environments and activities. In a nutshell, this means you can buy the front and rear sections with alternative attachments to offer a more diverse range of benefits for your adventure.
