What is the Flagline Harness?
It's a light, comfortable and supportive harness ideal for everyday walkies and weekend adventures with your pooch, whether they're a trail dog, a long-distance runner, or simply need an extra hand over everyday obstacles. With a low bulk, nimble design, it gives your dog the freedom and confidence to keep their flow when exploring new trails.
What is it made from?
The shell of the Flagline Harness is made from a highly durable 150 denier polyester ripstop. It's designed to withstand the everyday rigours of use by your dog, whether they're having a good ole scratch or just rolling around in the dirt - dogs and abrasion go hand in hand. The material is fade-resistant and reassuringly sturdy to the touch whilst also being comfortable enough for everyday wear.
The lining is made from a sturdy 75 denier polyester fabric, which is heat embossed to make it debris-resistant, allowing it to shed dirt, fur and help keep your dog cool and comfortable, even when adventuring off the beaten track.
The secure back V-ring leash attachment point is made from Anodized 6061-T6 aluminium, a sturdy yet lightweight aluminium that will ensure a dependable collar-leash connection for added confidence knowing that your pup is safe and secure. Whilst the front leash attachment is made from an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene webbing, for excellent durability.
What are its features?
The Flagline Harness features a low-bulk minimal construction and a debris-resistant liner that helps to shed dirt and fur, making it the ideal harness for dogs who love to get wet and muddy. Its unpadded design allows it to dry much quicker than a traditional padded harness - a highly useful feature when living in the UK, where wet, rainy walks year-round are a given.
A well-placed handle and load-dispersing chest/belly panel make for easy lift-and-assist manoeuvres over a style or up difficult patches of terrain, whilst still being comfortable enough for everyday wear. This easy assistance makes this harness a great option for tripods who need a little boost when the path ahead is anything but flat.
Three leash attachment points give you some versatility for everyday, fast-paced and training walkies. The V-ring to the back is ideal for everyday walks, whereas the back reinforced webbing loop is ideal for longer, fast-paced adventures when you want to keep the lead well and truly out of their way. The second reinforced webbing loop at the dog's chest is ideal for gently redirecting your dog if they are pulling on the lead.
The harness features six adjustment points so you can easily find a secure fit for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Whilst the sturdy side-release buckles make popping it on and off a breeze.
Reflective trims across the harness help to boost visibility in low light, whether walking near roads or simply to help keep track of them during nighttime off-lead adventures. A Ruffwear Beacon™ (sold separately) can also be attached to the harness via the convenient attachment point for added night-time visibility.
