What is the Free 1200 M?
The Silva Free 1200 is the world's first true modular headlamp. This global innovation delivers a higher quality lumen with an even smaller lamp, perfect for adventurers counting every gram of weight and prioritising packability.
What are its features?
The highlight of this headtorch is that it's so small yet powerful! It also has an innovative cord-free design, thanks to the built-in Free Technology that eliminates all cables and, therefore, eliminates hassle too.
A modular system makes mixing and matching lamps and batteries from the Free range easy. The light itself is a Silva Intelligent Light that combines a long-reach spotlight with a close flood light. It has three brightness levels ranging between 80 and 1200 lumen so that you can adapt it to your surroundings and personal preference.
An Air Flow system provides optimum cooling to the lamp using speed, wind and convection for efficiency.
This lamp comes with a powerful, long-distance 36Wh (5 Ah) battery that has a battery indicator to tell you when it's low on power. You can charge the battery easily using the included USB-C charging cable, whether in your van, at home or on the move.
A red safety light at the rear increases visibility for after-hours adventures without heavily impacting battery life.
Finally, the lamp meets IPX5 requirements, making it water-resistant and useable even in light rain or snow (although please note this doesn't mean it's fully waterproof).
