What is the Original Candle Lantern?
It's a traditional-looking candle lantern kit, ideal for backpacking, camping, and even mountaineering, thanks to its lightweight, collapsible design. The multi-purpose Original Candle Lantern is time-tested to fight dampness, resist wind and brighten up your whole camp, tent or backyard.
What are its features?
This Latern Kit includes two 9-hour candles, a neoprene cocoon to protect it from scratches or dents and a clip-on side reflector.
This handy lamp collapses down to 4.25", so you could easily fit it in a kit bag or backpack for multi-day adventures or even in the cupboard at home.
The lightweight construction is made with brass or aluminium (colour dependent) and burns a long-lasting UCO candle for up to nine hours! Alternatively, you could use a 12-hour beeswax candle or a citronella candle to keep the mozzies away.
It has an easy-slide glass chimney with a spring-loaded tube and twist-lock base to keep your candle in place and stable when lit, alongside a viewing slot so you can relax to the warm flicker of the candle as you wind down for the evening.
The carrying handle makes it ideal for moving around or walking with if you're off to the loo during the night, alongside a hanging hook that you could hook to a branch to keep the light off the ground.
