What is the Osprey Ultralight Drysack?
It's a lightweight, waterproof bag that completely protects against the elements. These dry bags allow you to separate kit or wet clothing from the rest of the contents in your bag and offer extra protection for valuables or electricals that you don't want to risk getting wet, even when inside your pack.
What is it made of?
The Ultralight Drysack is made from waterproof recycled material and has a PFAS-free DWR (durable water repellent) that reinforces the resistance. Being PFAS-free ensures that the treatment doesn't contain harmful chemicals that get left behind in the environment. The fabric is bluesign® approved and GRS-certified, ensuring strict environmental and consumer safety standards are met, including sustainability regulations.
What features does it have?
The roll-top closure and taped waterproof seams ensure reliable protection and prevent water ingress from seeping inside.
This drybag has a rectangular shape that allows you to pack it more easily and efficiently. It is highly packable, making it ideal for shoving into a backpack or pocket in case you get caught in an emergency downpour.
Overall, it has an IPX5 rating, making the bag waterproof yet non-submersible and perfect for hiking, trekking and camping in unpredictable conditions. However, if you're heading out on the water, you may need something a little more robust!
Subtle D-ring attachments also allow you to hang the bag in camp or attach it to other packs and bags when organising your kit, making it super versatile.
