What are the Force Climbing Shoes?
Scarpa's Force shoes are comfortable climbing shoes designed to excel in prolonged sessions and on multi-pitch routes, indoors or out. Designed with durable, supportive materials and a repairable sole, they will last you years' worth of ascents.
What are they made of?
The upper is crafted from 1.8mm suede to provide ample durability, comfort and flexibility.
A Vibram XS Edge sole reinforces support where it's needed most and is incredibly durable. These soles allow you to balance your weight on the tiniest of holds, making them ideal for more advanced or technical problems. The XS Edge features improved plastic deformation resistance, which means these soles will keep their shape even after hours of repeated abuse and in all weather and temperatures.
A soft, breathable heel liner enhances next-to-skin comfort whilst managing sweat build-up.

The Force Shoes have a neutral shape, which is incredibly versatile yet best suited to multi-pitch routes and some indoor climbing if you're seeking maximum performance.
A padded heel delivers further comfort for all-day wear, and a medium-centre fit allows the foot room to sit more naturally inside the shoe.
Scarpa's built-in V-Tension system supports the arch and heel area using the back part of the outsole; it's practically the equivalent of their X-Tension™ system but developed for full-length outsoles.
