What are the Traverse?
The Traverse are well-cushioned, comfortable trail running shoes that are versatile enough for multi-sport use. With a quick-lace system and protective overlays, they are ideal for tackling a wide range of terrain, from muddy, soft trails to more technical rocky mountain descents.
What are they made of?
The Traverse are built with a lightweight, durable upper that has been dual-constructed for maximum protection against rugged terrain. Whether battling through an overgrown woodland trail or moving fast along a scree track in the mountains, the Traverse provides excellent protection so you can focus on enjoying every moment of your adventure.
These shoes have a POMOCA outsole made with Butylic compound rubber. The rubber provides a better grip on rocks in both wet and dry conditions, focusing on traction and gliding. The 'Gliding Path' design allows the foot to unreel and roll smoothly while reducing deformation energy.
What are their features?
The Traverse's upper is created with a dual construction for extra support and abrasion resistance across the midsole, helping you to tackle rugged mountain routes and deep woodland trails without the worry of damaging yourself or your favourite trainers in the process.
A seamless tongue is strategically placed to provide a little extra cushioning for steep climbs and fast descents. The invisible lacing system looks clean and subtle and is easy to use. It also lessens the bulk of traditional laces to give you an overall more streamlined design for fast-paced activities. If you haven't used one before, this system allows you to tighten the laces with a quick pull. Afterwards, tidy the cords by stuffing them into the small pouch, aptly named a lacing cage, on the front of the tongue. This prevents them from coming undone as you run, so you won't have to worry about tripping over or dragging them in the mud en route!
The super grippy POMOCA outsole features deep 5mm lugs that allow these trainers to tackle most terrain, from deep muddy paths to rocky mountain trails and even tricky scree slopes. Although they are well cushioned, the grippy deep lugs make the Traverse's sole more suited to off-road adventures.
