What are the Ultra 50 Shoes?

What are they made of?
The 3D mesh construction gives you high breathability without the weight and bulk of conventional materials. Combined with a seamless tongue, the design helps prevent pinching or pressure points around the shoe.
TPU overlays are added on sensitive areas like the sides of the ankle for extra protection and shock absorption.
The POMOCA outsole is made with Butylic compound rubber to provide better grip on rocks in both wet and dry conditions. It focuses on traction and gliding. A 'Gliding Path' allows the foot to unreel and roll smoothly while reducing deformation energy. The 'Traction Zone' on the outer edge performs on softer ground - deep 3.5mm lugs cut into surfaces like mud to almost grab hold of the surface, and keep you as stable as possible whilst moving fast.
What are the features?
The invisible lacing system is easy to use and lessens the bulk of traditional laces. It allows you to tighten the laces with a quick pull and then stuff them into the small pouch, aptly named a lacing cage, on the front of the tongue to keep them from coming undone as you run, so you won't have to worry about tripping over or dragging them in the mud en-route.
They have a reinforced toe box to protect the tips of your feet from impact when hitting rocks and debris on uneven ground, making them the perfect off-road shoes for alpine adventures and mountain running.
The tried and tested Dynafit® Heel Preloader offers extra heel support and helps keep it in place for maximum stability. Alpine Rocker shaping of the outsole enables a dynamic running style of varying terrain, forcing the foot to rock and flex over the ground more naturally.
These shoes are well cushioned and offer maximum volume to optimise blood circulation, working with foot fatigue and swelling that often occurs during longer runs or in humid climates.
