What are the Ultra Pro 2 Shoes?

The Ultra Pro 2's are specially designed to enhance protection on the trails and accommodate runs of longer distances, especially over 42km, as this distance can put enormous stress on both your body and your feet. They're perfect for long-distance runners and ultra-marathon-goers who look to push their limits with every step.
What are they made of?
These shoes are made with partially recycled materials that are durable yet without excessive weight and bulk, allowing for more precision with every step. A TPU overlay construction increases the durability to ensure these shoes survive incredible distances in rugged and challenging terrain.
A Speedlite midsole provides a high level of cushioning to help absorb impact on hard ground, allowing you to run for longer by minimising aches, pains and foot fatigue. Compared to traditional EVA midsoles, the Speedlite is much lighter and, therefore, helps to conserve your energy.
A distinctive stack height combined with the 8mm drop height is dialled in to meet the needs of ambitious ultrarunners.
Plus, the ever-reliable Vibram® MegaGrip sole works in both wet and dry conditions to ensure year-round performance.
What are their features?
The quick-lace system allows you to easily adapt the fit to help keep the foot securely wrapped inside the shoe. Once adjusted, you can simply tuck the quick lace system away into the stretch lace cover to keep it tidy and out of harm's way.
A mid-cut around the ankle helps to protect from scree and debris without restricting mobility around the joint.
Finally, reinforcement panels around the toe harden the ends of the shoes for ample protection, meaning you can move fast unhindered through rocky terrain and scree.
