What are the Bushido III Wide Shoes?
The Bushido IIIs are dedicated to the art of sky running. This remake of La Sportiva's iconic shoe has been developed to guarantee perfect stability on all types of off-road terrain; they're grippy and fierce. What more could you want for those intense, fast-paced adventures?
What are they made of?
Upper: The upper comprises breathable air mesh that maximises temperature regulation for long-distance pursuits, helping to wick away sweat and moisture, keeping your feet a little happier throughout. It's combined with thermoplastic film reinforcements and a medial TPU HF skeleton applied on ripstop panels for increased durability and longevity; this will enable the shoes to last longer, even when regularly worn in rugged terrain, helping to keep them out of landfill.
Lining: These shoes are lined with anti-abrasion mesh made with recycled material. This mesh is incredibly robust and feels smooth and comfy to wear all day long. Of course, being recycled, this lining also has a lesser environmental impact.
Midsole: An EVA cushioning platform in the midsole does exactly what it says on the tin - it helps improve cushioning to absorb shock and impact from running over hard ground. The midsole also features a Stability Control System for extra underfoot security and support, with a rock guard insert to enhance protection.
Insole: An Ortholite™ Hybrid Mountain Running® Ergonomic Insole provides a more eco-friendly alternative without compromising feel and performance. These insoles contain 20% recycled material and are designed to offer maximum comfort, thanks to their built-in ventilation, breathable PU foam cells and sweat-wicking properties.
Sole: A bi-compound FriXion® Red sole combines grip, long-lasting wear and shock absorption, creating a perfect balance all-round.
What are their features?
Inside the upper, you'll find a slip-on construction which hugs the foot like a sock without constricting it or applying stress to specific pressure points on the foot.
The restyled sole looks as fierce as ever and provides a much greater grip, even around the edge of the shoe.
Laces are lightweight and slim to save weight and bulk; they're also 100% recycled to reduce environmental impact even further.
The Bushido III Wide shoes also come with a wider fit, which provides the same snug fit but with roomier dimensions to cater for different-shaped feet.
