What are the Lycan GTX's?
They're agile and responsive trail running shoes that will help you pick up the pace during off-road training sessions in various conditions. The Lycan GTX combines an extremely durable and grippy Frixion Blue sole and shock-absorbing midsole for long-lasting comfort, regardless of terrain.
What are they made from?
Upper: The upper is made from a highly breathable and water-repellent mesh with abrasion-resistant reinforcements and a protective TPU toe cap for added durability and protection when navigating rugged rocky terrain and woodland trails.
Lining: The Lycan GTX is lined with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane. It provides maximum comfort in various climates, keeping your feet dry in wet weather while still allowing moisture vapour to escape when you're working hard.
Midsole: The midsole is made from shock-absorbing injected EVA that's solid yet squishy enough to absorb and reduce the impact of running on solid ground. EVA can regain its shape well and provides fantastic cushioning under the foot to help improve comfort on longer trails.
Sole: For traction, the Lycan GTX uses FriXion Blue compound rubber on the outsole for durability and traction thanks to the Impact Brake System. FriXion Blue has been specifically designed to be hardwearing with good levels of grip, making for an excellent trail running shoe that won't wear out as quickly as some of the softer rubber compounds used in other models.
