What are the Olympus 5 Mid GTX?
Good question! They're mid-height, Gore-Tex® boots that provide complete waterproof protection for hiking, thru-hiking, backpacking and trekking in various conditions. They're incredibly supportive, durable and protective, giving you total confidence and comfort no matter the weather.
What are they made of?
A Gore-Tex® upper provides ample protection for wet or snowy conditions. Though waterproof, the upper is still incredibly breathable to help promote temperature regulation and enhance comfort for longer adventures.
Compression Moulded EVA foam is used to construct the midsole to protect underfoot on mixed terrain and improve overall comfort.
The outsole uses Vibram® Megagrip, a high-performance rubber compound that offers outstanding durability and grip in dry and wet conditions, promoting confidence to enhance stability and control in every step.
What are its features?
The traditional lacing system is easy to use and helps to enhance the fit around the upper foot to suit your preference.
A Footshape™ Toe Box provides your toes with enough space to relax fully and spread naturally, giving you a better balance on uneven terrain and steep inclines.
Innerflex™ technology uses grid-like grooves in the midsole for additional flexibility and movement, allowing your foot to roll off the ground more naturally, softening your step.
The Olympus 5 Mid GTX's also feature maximum cushioning to help absorb shock and soften your step for comfort on extended adventures.
