What is the Transalper Hybrid Insulation Jacket?
It's a versatile, hybrid insulated jacket... but what is that you ask? It's a jacket that uses selective insulation to provide warmth, breathability and mobility for fast-paced activities in cold environments.
What is it made of?
Outer: The exterior materials are bluesign® approved Dyna-Shell™ Ultralight and Dynastretch™. They are placed strategically to offer stretch and freedom of movement where it's most needed while maintaining the insulation and sandwiching it between a lightweight, breathable layer to maximise performance. These fabrics are wind and water repellent to protect you in breezy weather and keep you dry in a light rain shower (although please note this doesn't make it completely waterproof).
Lining: The jacket is lined with bluesign® approved nylon to offer a smooth and durable yet lightweight finish, allowing you to feel comfortable with just a t-shirt underneath if you wish.
Insulation: The Transalper Hybrid is insulated using 100% recycled polyester - a synthetic insulation. Synthetic insulation is more durable than down and can provide warmth even when wet, making it ideal for mountain adventures in unpredictable conditions. It lofts well, is low in bulk and is incredibly packable, making it ideal as a backup layer to stuff in your rucksack for pitstops or emergencies.

What are its features?
The hybrid construction has insulation around the torso. It provides a great balance of warmth and breathability with minimum bulk, meaning this jacket works just as well as a midlayer as it would a lighter outer layer. A full front zip and close-fitting hood allow optimum warmth and protection on exposed routes.
Thumb holes at the end of each sleeve help them to stay in place, while elasticated cuffs offer plenty of flexibility by the wrists.
Zipped front pockets are great for storing small essentials like energy gels and trail snacks alongside a larger stow pocket.
Active Airflow Ventilation aids temperature regulation, and the elasticated hem around the bottom helps to keep the wind out and heat in, balancing the body's all-important microclimate.
