What is it made from?
Expedition X-Latt Hoodie's outer lining is made of 100% recycled polyamide. Polyamide is exceptionally robust and can withstand a beating from rock and abrasion, making it perfect for venturing across rugged terrain. Polyamide's durability ensures that you'll be able to wear this jacket again and again without it looking worn and tired or losing its functionality along the way, helping the jacket last for many years to come.
For warmth, the jacket uses synthetic insulation made from 100% recycled polyester. Unlike down, this synthetic insulation is much more effective in wet weather as it retains warmth and loft, even when damp- making this piece excellent for unpredictable weather conditions, whether wearing it as a light outer layer on a fresh spring morning or as a midlayer during the winter when temperatures noticeably drop.
What are its features?
The Expedition X-Latt features a cosy insulated hood to protect you from the elements. The hood features an adjustable drawcord, allowing you to create a snug fit for maximum protection from the elements.
The jacket is fastened with a two-way zipper at the front, which provides versatile ventilation options. You can unzip the jacket from the bottom for extra ventilation and freedom of movement through the hips on steep inclines or if you need to access a climbing harness underneath.
Two hand pockets provide plenty of room for all your trail essentials, such as snacks, energy gels, a mobile phone, or GPS. Whilst an internal zippered chest pocket offers extra security for storing valuable possessions, like car keys or a purse. The chest pocket also doubles as an integrated pack bag for compact and convenient storage when not in use.
Elastic edging to the cuffs helps reduce heat loss, whilst the adjustable drawcord bottom hem helps seal out the elements and optimise the fit over chunky layers. In true Fjallraven style, both drawcords are constructed to be easily accessible and repairable, so you can enjoy the jacket for many years to come.
